PROPERTY TAX PAYMENTS AND MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION RENEWALS
**All 2010/2011 Fremont County Tax Statements have been mailed.**
First half taxes due September 1, 2010 and will become delinquent October 1, 2010
Second half taxes due March 1, 2011 and will become delinquent April 1, 2011.

Fremont County offers the ability to pay your delinquent property taxes on-line. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 712-374-2122
Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.
Vehicle Renewals:
Starting in February 2010, if you have a vehicle registration that is delinquent you will now be able to renew it online (This will be for vehicles that were due in December 2009 and after).
Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time.
* eCheck (electronic funds transfer), Discover Card, Master Card, and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions. If using echeck, the tax receipt number shown on your property tax statement will be required to complete your transaction. Do not use the decimal or numeral after the decimal when making your payment. Please be advised a surcharge of $20 will be assessed for a dishonored check, draft or order as prescribed in Iowa Code 554.3512.
