Driver’s License - Renew 30 days before and up to 60 days after birth date.
             8:00 - 4:15 / Monday/ (CLOSED Tuesday)/ Wednesday/Thursday/ Friday
             Written Test - 8:00- 3:30 Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri 
             Drive Test - 8:30-3:00 / Thursday (only) by appointment
             Motorcycle Skills and CDL Skills are not available

Our Location

Located in the county courthouse on the first floor on the southwest side. Handicap parking is available on the east side of the courthouse. Please use the east entrance for use of the elevator.

Property tax collection

Tax apportionment to all taxing bodies

Motor vehicle titling and registration, and collection of use tax

Driver license testing,  issuance of driver licenses and ID cards, and issuance of handicap parking devices

Investing of Hardin County funds

Financial record- keeping for the County

Please note: there is an outside drop box located at the top of the stairs on the south side of the courthouse for  payments to the treasurer’s office.
