IMPORTANT NOTICE: IF PAYING BY E-CHECK YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ENTER A RECEIPT NUMBER AS YOU PIN. YOUR RECEIPT NUMBER IS THE LAST 5 DIDGITS OF THE BOLD PRINTED NUMBER LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF YOUR TAX RECEIPT STUB UNDER RECEIPT#.
Motor Vehicle registration renewals can be processed the month before, the month of, and the month after the expiration month.
Vehicle registration renewal notices received by vehicle owners will include instructions and personal identification numbers (PIN) necessary to process renewals through this website. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal.
Vehicle renewals: You are eligible to renew online at www.iowatreasurers.org if you receive a renewal notice throught the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number from online renewals.
