Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions. Any transaction returned for insufficient funds will be charged a fee of $25.00.
You can now access the Assessor Property Information on each parcel from Step 3 of the property tax application.
Vehicle Renewals:
You are eligible to renew online if you received a renewal notice through US Postal Service that contains a PIN NUMBER. Delinquent online renewal will only be available for December, 2009 renewals and forward. Renewals for half year license, apportioned vehicles, and specialized plates requiring annual documentation are NOT eligible for online renewal at this time. Also, if SR22 Proof of Insurance is required or you owe state or county debts, you are NOT eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)

I would like to welcome you to the Lyon County Treasurers’ Home Page!! It is our goal to provide you with the information you need to contact us and to conveniently conduct business with this office 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. There are four main areas of operation for the Treasurer’s office, namely, the collection of property taxes for all real estate, mobile homes and special assessments in Lyon County, the issuance of vehicle titles and registrations and the collection of all vehicle fees for the residents of Lyon County, the issuance and renewals of driver’s licenses, and is also responsible for financial administration, banking services, cash management and investments for the county.
.It is our goal to provide quality and courteous customer service to the residents of Lyon County and to anyone doing business with any of the departments of the Lyon County Treasurer’s Office.
