Delinquent notices for the first half of taxes not paid in September were sent out this month.
Please remember that the 2nd half taxes are due in March, & become delinquent on April 1st.

Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions. Discover payments are the only credit card that is accepted in the office.
Property Tax Payments:
Current year taxes and delinquent taxes not covered by a tax sale certificate are available for payment online. Please contact our office for assistance on tax sale redemption amounts. If paying by eCheck, you must have a receipt number located near the top of your tax statement that you received in August.
Vehicle Renewals:
Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time. Beginning in February, 2010, delinquent renewals will be allowed to renew online. Delinquent online renewal will only be available for December, 2009 renewals & forward. To renew your vehicles online, you must have a PIN number which is located on the renewal statement that is mailed to you.
Drivers License:
Drivers License are renewed every day in Knoxville EXCEPT the 1st & 3rd Fridays. The drivers license team issue in Pella on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month. You can renew your drivers license 30 days prior to your birthdate & 60 days after your birthdate.
Drivers License in Pella: Drivers License Examiners will be in Pella on January 15th, February 5th, & February 19th, March 5th & March 19th at the Pella Community Center. We are only at the Pella Site one time in January. The hours are from 9:00 - 4:00, & no tests can be started after 3:30. Please keep in mind that we will make great efforts to wait on everyone that is in line at end of the day. There may be a chance that we have to turn people away at the end of the day. Tune into KNIAKRLS for weather related delays &/or cancellations.
Please note: There will be a $25.00 Returned Check Fee for eChecks that are returned for insufficient funds.
