Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.
A collection fee of $30.00 will be charged on all insufficent fund checks and e-checks returned for non-payment.
Vehicle Renewals:
If your vehicle registration is delinquent, the vehicle does not qualify for online renewal. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)
2010 TAX SALE: Will he held Monday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. in the Treaurer’s Office. To bid on properties, you must be registerd by Thursday, June 17th.

Welcome to Pocahontas County! My staff and I are here to provide the best service we possibly can to our constituents.
My hope is this website, will make contacting our office easier and more convenient with access to information 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
We provide the following services from our office: Collection of real estate tax payments along with any special assessments, drainage tax due and other fees for state, county, city, school districts, community colleges and other taxing bodies. The treasurer’s office is reposonsible for all motor vehicle transactions. Driver’s licenses are also issued through this office.
