Your taxes may be paid on the internet unless they are flagged "Tax Sale". Please contact our office for Tax Sale information. Have your district and parcel number and your receipt number available when paying online. District, parcel number, and receipt number are printed on your tax statement.
Property taxes payable in September 2009 and March 2010 are based on the January 1, 2008 assessment, which is called the 2008 tax year. This assessment covers July 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 taxes, which are payable September 2009 and January 1, 2009 through June 30, 2009 taxes, which are payable in March 2010.

Vehicle Renewals:
You are only eligible to renew when you have received a renewal notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number. If you have lost your PIN number, you can contact us with your plate number and we can look up your PIN number. If your vehicle registration is delinquent, the vehicle does not qualify for online renewal.

All renewals or applications for hazmat have to be done at a state station - Marshalltown, Waterloo,
Des Moines and Cedar Rapids are state stations.
