Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.

Property Taxes:

Property taxes maybe paid online.  Current year taxes and delinquent taxes not covered by a tax sale certificate are available for payment online.  Please contact our office for assistance on tax sale redemption amounts.

To search for parcel numbers by name, enter the last name first followed by comma, a space, and then all or part of the first name.  For example, to search for all parcels owned by John Smith, enter Smith, John.

If paying by e-check you will be asked to enter your six-digit Tax Receipt number.  Your Tax Receipt number is located in the bottom lefter corner of each payment stub on your tax statement.  Please enter only the six digit receipt number, do not include the tax year.

Motor Vehicle: 

Motor vehicle renewals maybe done online. You are not eligible to renew online unless you received a renewal notice that contains a PIN number.

Your vehicle does not qualify for online renewal if the vehicle registration requires proof of insurance or if any state debts are owed.    Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)

Drivers License:

You may renew your drivers license in our office Monday through Friday.  Renewal maybe done 30 days before your birthday and up to 60 days after your birthday.

   ***A $30.00 service charge will be assessed on all e-checks returned due to insufficient funds***

                                                           Tax Sale Information

                                                           2013 TAX SALE RULES

          The 2013 Wayne County Tax Sale will be held ONLINE at 9:00 a.m. on the third Monday of June at the Wayne County Courthouse in the Wayne County Treasurer's office in Corydon, Iowa.  The annual sale is then adjourned on a daily basis until all parcels are sold. 

         The Wayne County Treasuer will be utilizing an online tax sale auction site to condut the tax sales on June 17, 2013. The tax sale will be conducted at the Wayne County Treasurer's office and all bids will be placed online.  With the implementation of the online tax sale bidders will not need to be present at the courthouse.  Additonal information can be found at the attached 2013 Tax Sale Rules.
