Pay Property Taxes
Pay Motor Vehicle Renewals
Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.
Property Taxes:
Property taxes maybe paid online. Current year taxes and delinquent taxes not covered by a tax sale certificate are available for payment online. Please contact our office for assistance on tax sale redemption amounts.
To search for parcel numbers by name, enter the last name first followed by comma, a space, and then all or part of the first name. For example, to search for all parcels owned by John Smith, enter Smith, John.
If paying by e-check you will be asked to enter your six-digit Tax Receipt number. Your Tax Receipt number is located in the bottom lefter corner of each payment stub on your tax statement. Please enter only the six digit receipt number, do not include the tax year.
Motor Vehicle:
Motor vehicle renewals maybe done online. You are not eligible to renew online unless you received a renewal notice that contains a PIN number.
Your vehicle does not qualify for online renewal if the vehicle registration fees are past due, if proof of insurance is required or if any state debts are owed. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)
Drivers License:
You may renew your drivers license in our office Monday through Friday. Renewal maybe done 30 days before your birthday and up to 60 days after your birthday.
***A $30.00 service charge will be assessed on all e-checks returned due to insufficient funds***

The 2010 Wayne County Tax Sale will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 21, 2010 at the meeting room of the Wayne County Courthouse in Corydon, Iowa. The annual sale is then adjourned on a daily basis until on parcels are sold. Please click on the above links for additional information.
