                               THESE TAXES ARE PAYABLE SEPT. 2009 AND MARCH 2010

                 Discover, Mastercard, Visa and eCheck are accepted for Interent Transactions.

                Office Payments accepted:  Cash, Check, Debit, Discover, MasterCard and  Visa.

• Pay Property Taxes-Payments are now accepted on current and past due taxes.

You can now access the Assessor Property Information on each parcel from Step 3 of the property tax application.

• Pay Your Vehicle tags - To renew your vehicle license online you must have received your renewal notice via the U.S. Postal Service. This renewal notice contains your PIN number needed for online renewals. If your vehicle registration is delinquent, the vehicle does not qualify for online renewal. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)

Drivers License: When renewing your drivers license, you have 30 days before your birthdate and 60 days after your birthdate to renew without testing.

NOTICE: PLEASE BE ADVISED A SURCHARGE OF $25.00 WILL BE ASSESSED FOR ALL DISHONORED CHECKS, AND E-CHECKS RETURNED FOR INCORRECT ACCOUNT INFORMATION AS PRESCRIBED IN IOWA CODE 554.3512

For Handicapped Accessiblility enter from the west side of the courthouse parking lot through the new additon. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor. The Treasurers’ office is located just around the corner of the elevator.

I would like to welcome you to the Winnebago County Treasurers’ Home Page.

My hope is this website, will make contacting our office easier and more convenient with access to information 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Answers to many questions can be found here as well as the ability to print many needed forms. Questions can also be submitted via e-mail at your convenience.

We provide the following services from our office: Property tax Collection, Issuance of Vehicle Titles and Registrations, and Driver License Issuance.

Our office is committed to carrying out these responsibilites while providing outstanding customer service through a process of continuous evaluation and improvement of the way in which we do business.
