Accepted On-Line Payment Methods-eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.
You can now access the Assessor Property Information on each parcel from Step 3 of the property tax application.
At this time we cannot accept Visa or MasterCard payments at our counter for driver services payments. MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards can be used in our office for real estate tax payments and for motor vehicle title and registration payments, but we are required to impose an extra service fee on those transactions.
Property Tax:
Payments are due September 1 and March 1 of each year. Penalties apply to payments unpaid on or after Oct. 1 and April 1 of each year. Mailed payments that are postmarked by September 30 and March 31 respectively are considered to be timely. Payments made on our website are timely if completed by Midnight September 30 and Midnight March 31 respectively.
Each property owner will receive a statement in August for tax due in the upcoming fiscal year. If your property tax payment is paid through an escrow account, this statement will be for your information purpose only. Please return the stub(s) from the statement with your payment if you submit your payment by mail.
Vehicle Renewals:
If your vehicle registration is delinquent, the registration renewal cannot be completed online. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are also not eligible for online renewal at this time. ( This is an enhancement that will be available in the future!!)
