2023 Notice to Tax Sale Purchasers

If you wish to attend the sale in person, a limited number of computers will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  Wireless internet access will be available for bidders using their own laptop.  Please note, all bids must be placed online.  Live bids will not be accepted.  To obtain additional information, please email the Treasurer's Office at Lnovak@boonecounty.iowa.gov.                                              

E-Check,(electronic funds transfer)  Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.

Vehicle Renewals: You are not eligible to renew online unless you received a renewal notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number for online renewals.  Half year liscense and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal.

Property Taxes: Payments for Current and Past due taxes are now accepted on line.   Payments for tax sale parcels may not be made online.  If you opt to pay your property tax by eCheck, you will be asked to enter a receipt number as your PIN.  Your receipt number is the last 5 digits in the sample below.  This can be found in the upper right corner of your tax stub.
