Welcome to the Iowa State County Treasurers Association website.
Carroll County ranks 31st largest in the state with a population of 20,320.
In addition to collecting property taxes for over 23,000 parcels within the county, our office is also responsible for the issuance of vehicle titles and registrations, as well as the collection of all vehicle fees for the residents of Carroll County.
With the Department of Transportation announcing the closing of the issuance station in Carroll on September 1, 2016, the staff of the Carroll County Treasurer's Office immediately began training to provide the county with this service. Full-time issuance of Iowa drivers licenses and state IDs began in our office on May 1, 2017. We are currently conducting car drives and motorcycle drives and are planning to conduct CDL drives in the near future.
The goal of our office is to provide quality customer service through positive interactions between you, our customer, and our office staff.
I have been a member of the Treasurer's Office team since 1999. Following my appointment as Carroll County Treasurer in January, 2014, I was re-elected to serve my first full term beginning January 1, 2015. I was awarded the honor of earning Certified Treasurer status by the Iowa State County Treasurers Association on May 17, 2017.
It continues to be a pleasure to serve you as your County Treasurer. Please contact our office, 712-792-1200, if we may be of assistance to you. We are more than happy to help you with your needs.
