You may renew your motor vehicle registration, order peronalized plates or pay or schedule property taxes online by utilizing an e-check or credit card payment.  Service fees do exist, but e-check it is still cheaper than a stamp at .40!

2022 Property Taxes 

Payable By Sept 30, 2023 & Mar 31, 2024  

2nd half Tax Payments need to be postmarked or in office by Monday April 1st 2024     Interest of 1.5% will begin April 2nd. Payments can be made online, in drop box,     by mail or in person @ 414 E 3rd St in Muscatine

• Discover, Mastercard, Visa and e-Check are accepted for Internet Transactions. When paying property taxes by parcel number please enter the 10 digit parcel number which appears in the bottom right corner of either payment stub.  If paying with eCheck a receipt number is required, it can be found on your statement. If thats not available send us an email and we will reply to you or answer any other questions you may have.                                                                                                                                   
•      Property Tax may be prepaid but no refunds will be made on prepaid Tax. 
•  $30 Return Check Fee will be assessed on any payment returned due to insufficient funds.

Our office accepts new applications for passports from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.-         except for the 2nd Tuesday of each month only accepted from 12-3:30

•  At minimum you will need certified birth certificate, Driver License or photo ID

• and check payable to US Dept of State.
